The mechanical properties of cancellous bone are fundamental in providing structural support and flexibility during physical activities. Characterization its behaviour were found crucial as information the elastic failure tissue may potentially be used to study effects drug treatments, aging disease at level. This aims present difference between compressive three-point bending loads. Cancellous specimens from femoral tibial condyles bovines mechanically tested using test compression correlated with morphological parameters such volume fraction porosity. From results, significant was load. load, maximum stress reached 4.2 MPa, whereas bending, flexural 17.0 MPa. strength much higher when although correlations (BV/TV) porosity lower compared that In conclusion, there no correlation morphology indices (BV/TV porosity).
